Our third graders put their multiplication and division skills to the test with a fun Halloween twist! Students rotated through stations, solving FAST-style word problems to earn treats. This engaging activity challenged students to identify the correct operation, write equations, solve one- and two-step word problems, and apply mathematical strategies to real-world situations. Students also strengthened their collaboration and communication skills by discussing strategies, explaining their reasoning, and working together to solve problems—all while having fun!
