The arts have "launched into learning" across our school! In Art class, each grade level created its own constellation banner, complete with individual planets made by every student. Third grade has been busy creating their "Shaking Dogs" inspired by Iris Scott. Fourth grade has been creating their hot air balloon landscapes. Meanwhile, fifth graders are tying art into their ELA unit by creating detailed corn mosaics.
As we celebrate Arts in Education Week, we are thankful for our wonderful art teacher, Mrs. Collins, and all the creative opportunities she provides for our students. We love seeing our students’ creativity shine throughout WDE!
