This month in 4th grade, our young scientists rolled up their sleeves and became botanists! We explored the fascinating world of plants by dissecting real flowers to identify their parts. Students carefully examined and learned about the petals, sepals, stamens, and pistils, discovering how each part plays an important role in helping plants grow and reproduce. Hands-on learning like this brings science to life—sparking curiosity, building vocabulary, and deepening understanding in a meaningful way.
