Yesterday, our 1st grade students had a very special treat during Literacy Week! We were excited to welcome three wonderful guest readers — all of them pageant queens! 
A big thank you to Gracie Partridge, Teen Miss DeFuniak Springs; Kapreigh May, Young Miss DeFuniak Springs; and Addison Locke, Little Miss DeFuniak Springs for taking time to visit WDE and read aloud to our students. The children loved listening to the stories and especially enjoyed getting to ask questions and learn more about what it’s like to participate in pageants.
