First grade students at WDE enjoyed hands-on social studies activities throughout the first quarter of school. With the help of their families, students created timelines of their lives using pictures as primary sources. They added captions to describe each life event and enjoyed sharing their timelines with their classmates. Hands-on activities always make learning fun!
