Last week, we celebrated Literacy Week with the theme "Building Literacy: Constructing the Foundation for Success," which aligns with Governor DeSantis' "Get There Workforce Initiative." The students participated in fun reading challenges, including creating paper chains for every 100 % earned on their A.R. tests. The result? A colorful chain now hanging proudly in the cafeteria for everyone to admire!
We also had career books available for check-out in the media center and welcomed guest speakers each day to share insights about different career paths. It was a week filled with learning and excitement, and we were thrilled to see how engaged and motivated our students were. Literacy Week was a huge success!
