5th grade students at West DeFuniak Elementary have spent the past 2 weeks learning about energy. They have learned some basic forms of energy, how energy flows through materials, and how to create electrical circuits when given a battery, wire, a light bulb, and a switch. Students enjoyed the hands-on experience and were so excited to make closed circuits work and diagnose why some circuits weren't working for classmates.
