Mrs. Ellis' second grade scientists used the scientific method to discover physical changes. Students conducted a science project to explore the solubility of mints. Each student created a hypothesis regarding which liquid would dissolve the mint the fastest. Using the scientific process and critical thinking skills, Mrs. Ellis' students asked questions, formed their own hypotheses, analyzed and recorded their data, and drew their conclusions.
