Cornell Notes in Mrs. Anderson's Class

This week Mrs. Anderson’s third grade students used 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹 π—‘π—Όπ˜π—²π˜€ during their science group to increase comprehension. Cornell Notes offer greater mindfulness and organization by breaking the notes into four sections: heading, key terms/review questions, main ideas and points, and a summary. The key terms and review questions give her students a better understanding and provide reminders about previously-learned information, while also relating the material to real world situations. The main ideas and points give answers to questions and cover the lesson topics that stuck out to the students as important. The summary allows the students to reflect on the lesson and bring it together using vocabulary they understand and can comprehend.
