Science is sweet at WDE! Mrs. Ellis' 2nd grade class explored matter and discovered it is everywhere! During this science project, students used root beer floats to explore different states of matter. Students discovered the ice cream solid, the root beer liquid, and the carbon dioxide gas that made their float foam! Students created a journal to record their findings. It is never too soon to start practicing the steps of the scientific method!
