AVID Strategies in Kindergarten

In English Language Arts, Kindergarten students are studying the short story The Little House. Students used the Four Corners AVID strategy to decide if they thought the house would like to live in the city or the country at the end of the book. Students then collaborated with each other to discuss why they thought the little house would feel this way. By using the Four Corners strategy, Kindergarten teachers helped engage their students to improve class discussion.
