Students in Mrs. Fuentes’ 2nd grade class were being reading detectives as they worked with their WICOR partners to review a reading assessment that they took the previous day. Each partner had one of the assessment questions and a passage. They had to re-read the passage, read their question and answer, highlight key words in the question and go back and highlight in the text with their partners. Afterwards, the class played 4-corners while each WICOR partner read aloud the question they worked on. Once all the students were in a corner, the partners revealed their answer and where they found it within the passage.
