National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) Scholarships
Students enrolled in career and technical education programs may be eligible for additional scholarship opportunities through the National Technical Honor Society. NTHS offers scholarships to support students pursuing technical careers.

Mike Rowe WORKS Scholarship (Skilled Trades)

The Mike Rowe WORKS Foundation offers a national scholarship for students enrolled in skilled trades programs. This opportunity supports students who demonstrate strong work ethic, personal responsibility, and commitment to a career in the trades.

Eligible Programs May Include:

  • Welding

  • HVAC/R

  • Electrical

  • Automotive

  • Information Technology

  • Healthcare-related technical programs

Award Amount:
Varies (may cover tuition, fees, and select program-related costs)

Application Requirements:

  • Completed online application

  • Short answer responses

  • Video submission

  • Reference(s) and signed pledge

CHELCO’s annual college scholarship program is designed to help members or their dependents with college expenses. In 2026, ten recipients will receive a $1,000 scholarship to help cover their educational expenses.

Requirements:

Must be a CHELCO member/member dependent
Must attend college or trade school as undergraduate students in 2026-27. 
Must have a GPA of at least 2.5
Must be in attendance at the Annual Meeting
