Ms. Rockett's class participated in a Socratic Seminar using one of the B.E.S.T. books, Volcano, in preparation for their upcoming F.A.S.T. Reading Assessment. The leader of the group facilitated the students' thoughts and wonderings after reading the text. Students then discussed their answers to the comprehension questions aligned with this nonfictional piece of literature about the mystical Mt. Saint Helens.
