Students in Mrs. McKee's Kindergarten class at West DeFuniak Elementary are learning about the letter Tt. Students are covering the Tt with tissue paper. This multisensory activity also helps students with their fine motors skills when they tear the tissue paper. MSE participated in the Coastal Cleanup by cleaning up the Wee Care Park. As they collected, they recorded their findings to be included in the state database that documents the benefits of Coastal Cleanup Day. Submitted by Krisy Spence

Paxton Key Club members participated in United Way's Annual Day of Caring by completing beautification projects on Paxton’s campus. The members, along with adviser Laurie Gilbert and Chelco Marketing manager, Bryan Gilbert completed various projects around the campus.

FMS 6th grade students participated in International Coastal Clean-Up 2018 on Friday, September 14th. Students helped beautify Miramar Beach by collecting and documenting the trash littering the coastline. Submitted by Sharie Smith
