1st grade got a special visit from Mrs. Armstrong and her amazing rock collection!  She taught them about all sorts of different rocks and gems.  Birthstones, petrified wood, geodes and more!  The students got to view her collection and they even got to leave with a little rock of their own to keep.  A big thank you to Mrs. Armstrong for taking the time out of her day to come share her hobby with our students!

Mrs. Adkinson and Mrs. Cook's third grade classes recently participated in The Egg Drop Challenge!  Students worked in groups to design a device that would protect an egg dropped from a high distance. Of the 11 groups, 10 were able to protect their egg!
